On the final episode of this season of #PoliticsInThePulpit, Raj hands over to our new host: Revd Jenny Mills.
Jenny is an ordained Minister in the United Reformed Church. Currently she is serving in the role of Secretary for Education and Learning in the URC, having been in local pastorate ministry and a Primary School teacher- roles which have many similarities and transferable skills!
We are so grateful to Raj for how he has blessed us with profound wisdom, gentleness and hard work. We wish him all the best in his future ministry!

Shermara is the Principal Officer for Pentecostal, Charismatic and Multi-cultural Relations at Churches Together in England and also steers CTE’s Racial Justice Working Group. Shermara is a dynamic millennial leader with significant experience in community organising, ecumenical engagement, leadership development and public speaking. She is also committed to engaging young people by creating opportunities for them to exercise leadership and to enter service in the public square.

Ruth leads the Iona Community, an international, ecumenical Christian movement working for justice and peace, the rebuilding of community and the renewal of worship. She supports its volunteer membership, acting as its public representative, offering theological direction and pastoral support. She is a Church of Scotland minister and a Quaker.

Rev Delyth Liddell is a Methodist Minister, Coordinating Chaplain at Cardiff University and a member of the Justice, Dignity and Solidarity Committee of the Methodist Church. She lives in Cardiff where she runs The Gathering, a LGBTQI church.
They discuss the lectionary readings for Sunday 20th March and explore together how unpacking the justice issues present can help us to be good news in the world today.

Simon is Minister of Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church in the West End of London, and the Baptist chaplain for King's College London. He has previously been a market stall holder on Camden Market, a Baptist Minister in Bristol, a Tutor at South Wales Baptist College, and a lecturer at Cardiff University. He is married to Liz.

Susan is currently Convener of the Church of Scotland's Faith Impact Forum, a Chaplain to the Queen in Scotland, and ministers in the Presbytery of Duns. She is a former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and was the first woman to be in charge of a Cathedral in the UK as minister of Dornoch Cathedral.

It's our birthday! On this special episode marking one year since the first episode of #PoliticsInThePulpit, Raj speaks to Revd Beth Allison-Glenny, creator and first host of the podcast.
Beth is the new Chaplain, Head of Welfare and Fellow in Theology at Regent’s Park College, Oxford. She is an ordained Baptist minister and a practical theologian, and previously worked as the Public Issues Enabler for Baptists Together as part of the JPIT team.

After serving the World Council of Churches as Programmed Executive for Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation for the last 9 years, Peniel recently joined the Anglican Mission agency United Society Partners in the Gospel (USPG) as Global Theologian. When he is not engaged in theology or reading detective novels, you will find him playing badminton or going on walks with his wife Rebecca and their two sons Ebenezer and Cleon.

This week on #PoliticsInThePulpit, Raj speaks with Victoria Turner.
Victoria is a PhD Candidate in World Christianity at the University of Edinburgh. Her studies explore changing theologies and practices of mission from the middle of the 20th Century. She is a member of the United Reformed Church and is a Trustee of Churches Together in England, alongside working with the Council for World Mission, Tearfund and the World Communion of Reformed Churches. Her edited book, 'Young, Woke and Christian: Words from a Missing Generation' is being released with SCM Press in February 2022.
