In the final episode of this series of #PoliticsInThePulpit, David hands over to our new host, Revd Raj Patta.
Raj Bharat Patta currently serves as a minister of the Methodist Church in the UK at the United Stockport Circuit. He completed his PhD with a thesis on “Towards a Subaltern Public Theology for India” at the University of Manchester, UK. Prior to this, he served the Student Christian Movement of India (SCMI) as its national general secretary and the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI) as one of its executive secretaries for the Commission on Dalits and Adivasis. He also worked as an Honorary Chaplain at St. Peter’s Church and Chaplaincy ministering the higher education University communities in Manchester.
We're so grateful to David Mayne for being such a brilliant host in this season. Why not add your thanks over on our Twitter page, @pulpit_politics, or on the Joint Public Issues Team Facebook page?
David and Raj discuss the lectionary readings for Sunday 28th November:
Jeremiah 33:14-16
1 Thessalonians 3:9-13

Politics in the Pulpit will return in January, with Raj as the new host, an exciting range of guests, and more ways to interact with the podcast online.
